This Tutorial was written on March 5th, ‎2013 by Ashly
It is of my own creation and any resemblance to any other tutorial is purely coincidental.

Please do not copy and do not post elsewhere.
Do not translate or script.
This tutorial is written as if you have a general knowledge on how to use the program.

***What you'll need***
Program of Choice.
I am using Photoshop CS5
But, if you know your tools you can use any program of choice

Tube of choice.
I am using the artwork of Zlata_M
You must purchase a license to use her tubes and can do so HERE

Scrapkit of Choice
I am using “Funny Valentine” by Candy's Treats
You can find this HERE

Mask of Choice
I am using Mask84 by Weescotslass Creations
You can find this HERE

You'll also need a heart shape, I used a brush or you can use the heart preset shape that just comes with the program

Additional Filters Needed
VanDerLee – Unplugged-X – Pattern Offset

~*~*~ Let's Get Started~*~*~

Start a new canvas
600px by 600px
Flood fill with white.

Open Bracket
Add to your canvas
Resize down by 80%
Rotate -25 degrees
Add a drop shadow
Duplicate this layer
Flip Horizontal, Flip Vertical
Arrange a bit apart sort of like my sample tag

Open P7
Resize to 600px by 600px
Add to your canvas below the two brackets
Add a new layer and either draw out, stamp or add the heart you're going to be using
Drag below the paper layer
Hold down your alt key and on the layer pallette move your mouse between the two layers until the cursor changes into the two intersecting circles and click once
Move around and resize the heart as you'd like to
I also added a bevel and outer glow
Add a Drop shadow

Open P3
Resize to 600px by 600px
Add to your canvas just above the white background layer
Apply the layer mask here

Add the tube to the canvas
Resize and reposition to your liking
Duplicate
Filter → Blur → Gaussian Blur, 3.0px
Change the blend mode to soft light
Lower the opacity to about 50%
On the bottom tube
Add a drop shadow

Add the tube once more
Just above the pink paper we used for the heart we made
I flipped mine horizontally
I made the clipping mask as I did before (with the heart and paper layers)
Change the blend mode to luminosity
Lower the opacity to 30%

Duplicate the paper layer (you may need to readd the clipping mask)
Filter → VanDerLee → Un-plugged-X → Pattern Offset
Change the blend mode to soft light

In a nice cursive font type out the letters ily in white
Add a bevel, slight inner glow, outer glow and drop shadow
Change Rotate to match the brackets
Change the blend mode to soft light

Now add which elements you'd like
I used the following from the bottom layer up with a drop shadow unless stated:

Stormbg1 (no drop shadow)
Stormbg1 (no drop shadow)
Gems-pink
ribbon3
tag
Greenery2
elesmall4
heart1
heart2
ele7
Stud
ele3
elesmall1
Stormbow1
Stormbow4
ValentineButterfly1
LilacButterfly
Stud
Stud

Add your name

Crop your tag to get rid of the access space that's not needed

Resize if you'd like to

****Most Important****
Add your copy right information

If you're happy with your result save to your liking and you're done!
