This Tutorial was written on November 19th, 2011 by Ashly
It is of my own creation and any resemblance to any other tutorial is purely coincidental.

Please do not copy and do not post elsewhere.
This tutorial is written as if you have a general knowledge on how to use the program.

***What you'll need***
Program of Choice.
I am using Photoshop CS5

Tube of choice.
I am using the artwork of Anna Marine
You must purchase her work for use and you can do so HERE

Kit of choice.
I am using a scrapkit called “Autumn Becomes Winter” by Mythical Designs
You can purchase that for use HERE

Mask of Choice
I cannont remember where I found the one I am using
I'll look around for it and if I find it i'll post a link to it :)

Filters Needed
Xero – Radience
Xero – Porcelain
Alien Skin Xenofex 2 - Constellation (for animation)

~*~*~ Let's Get Started~*~*~

Open up a new canvas
600px x 600px.
Flood fill with white

Open Frame3 and copy and paste it into your canvas.
Resize by 60%
Duplicate this layer.
Ctrl +Alt+Shift+B (convert to black and white)
Rotate the bottom, now black and white layer by -15%

Erase parts of this frame so that it looks like the two frames are weaving around each other.
Merge Down and add a Drop Shadow.

Open paper11.
Resize to 600px by 600px
Copy and paste as a new layer
Use your magic wand and slect inside your frames, also added the tiny pieces with a bit of the lasso tool.
Invert your selection and on the paper layer click delete.
Deselect.

Open paper1
Resize to 600px by 600px
Copy and paste as new layer onto your canvas
drag to just above the white background layer.
Add your mask here.

Open up your tube and copy and paste onto your canvas.
Resize and reposition as you'd like to.

Once you're happy with it duplicate this layer and drag one below your frame layer.
The other above it.

Erase any parts that are sticking outside of the frame.
On the bottom one add a drop shadow.

On the top one:
Filer → Xero → Porcelain
All at default, except the blue channel, set to 0.

Filter → Xero → Radiance
Something subtle that compliments your tube

Filter → Sharpen → Unsharp Mask
All at default.

Now we're going to embellish.
Do this to your liking with drop shadow of choice
Resized and rotated as you'd like to as well.

I used the following in this order:

~Above mask, below paper frame back~
Element40 (no drop shadow)
Element15 (no drop shadow and duplicated, repositioned)
Element30 (no drop shadow)
Element23 (no drop shadow)

~Just below your frame layer~
Element 22 (use your rectangle marquee tool to select just one that you like, invert and delete the others)
Duplicate this layer and move just above your frame as well.

~Above the heart diamond layer we just moved above the frame~
Element6
Element31
Element38
Element35
Element45
Element44

Add your name to your tag.

Image → Trim
Upper left pixel color, all boxes checked
Resize if you'd like to.

*****Most Important****
Add your copyright information

If you're happy with you tag and don't want to animate you're done.
Save as a .jpg
or hide the white layer and save as a .png

If you do want to animate, let's go :D

Go to each of your diamond dangle layers and duplicate them both twice so you have a total of 3 of each.

Use the following filter on the first layer
Filter → Alien Skin Xenofex 2 → Constellation
With the following Settings.

Star Size – 4.00
Size Variation – 85
Edge Star Density – 3
Overall Star Density – 2
Overdrive – 100
Twinkle Amount – 75

Do this on all other 5 layers of the diamond dangle but hit random seed each time.

Once you're done hide all but the bottom two layers.
Now we're going to go to our animation window

Have the animation set at forever and the delay at .15 seconds
Add a new layer and hide the bottom two diamond layers and unhide the middle two diamond dangles.

Add a new layer and hide the middle layer of dangles and unhide the top two layers.

Press play to see your sparkles go :)

If you're happy with it save it as a .gif and you're done!!!
I hope you like this tutorial!!

I'd love to see anything you come up with or if you have any questions at all!
Thank you so much!!!
Ashly
